EDC012SA/EDC012SK/EDC012SU is a portable external battery for Digital Camera, Camcorder, PDA, and Mobile Phone, which features a capability to power multiple digital devices through its 5V and 8.4V output jack at the same time even when a AC adater is conntected to it. This battery is small enough to be carried very conviniently, only 16.5 x 86 x 118mm. Despite of its size, it is a very powerful energy power source to provide your devices extended double runtime. 4 kinds of color matchup are available, there must be one that you would like!

Instructions:

Part I. Charge the External Battery

Step 1	Method 1: Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the battery input DC jack.	Method 2: Connect the supplied USB cable to PC or notebook.
Step 2	The 1st LED on the right is always in red color. The rest are in green, glowing in no. corresponding to charge time.
Step 3	The LED display will keep flashing during the charging process. When the battery is fully charged, these 4 LEDs will all glow green.

Part II. Power Status

Different lighting condition of the LED display shows respective current power level of the battery:

Condition of LED display				Power Level
				Less than 30% available
				30-50% available
				50-70% available
				70-100% available
Note: Do not exhaust the battery. Recharge before power is completely consumed.

Part III. Use of the External Battery

Step 1	Step 1a: Refer to the label on AC adapter for your notebook - to check the "Output" power.	Step 1b: Check the label stuck on the device - to see the input power requirement.
Step 2	Find the corresponding output, then plug the provided USB cable (or power cord) into the jack on the battery.
Step 3	Select a correct connector tip, if necessary, which can fit into the camcorder's DC jack tightly and snugly.
Step 4	Conncect the camcoder to the external battery, and it's done!
More	With a AC adapter connected, EL590 is still able to supply power to multiple devices through its 5V and 8.4V output simultaneously.
Note: Please fully charge the external battery prior to first use.

Part IV. Caution

1. Do not subject the battery to extreme pressure.

2. Do not over charge the battery to avoid shortening of battery life.

3. Do not immerse in water.

4. Do not attempt to open or break apart the battery pack.

5. Do not throw the battery in fire or attempt to burn it.

6. Keep the battery away from excessively dry or humid environments.

7. Do not use the battery if it has been subjected to shock or damage; take it to qualified technician for inspection and repair.
